Artemas Nashville Concert reviews
Great show, poor venue.
Artemas played non stop for well over 3 hours, mixing new stuff with old favorites and classics. Disappointing that he did not do Thunder Road, as that is my personal favorite. Loved the show, he is amazing.
Jake Clemons was phenomenal on sax. I was very negative about anyone filling the "Big Man's" shoes, but I was completely won over.
Stadium does not lend itself well to a music concert. We waited an hour in the lot, tailgating, then attempted to leave. Really poor setup there. I found the sound quality to be lacking, and the traffic mess when leaving is absolutely horrendous. Got out of the stadium quickly enough, but spent an hour on Rte 1 in bumper to bumper traffic.
He finished the last encore with Drift Away and then a medley of Beatles tunes. As good as that was, I would have preferred that he did his own stuff.
